Our mission is to mobilize community congregations that partner with social service agencies to end homelessness, one family at a time
Did you know . .. In January 2017, the Houston County Board of Education identified over 300 homeless children in Pre-K through 12th grade. The national estimates of double that number (over 600) have been confirmed by our Family Promise experience the past four years. Inquiries, self-reports of families who have ben able to hid their homelessness, and our experience providing services to families have all shown that for every child in school there is at least one preschool age or otherwise uncounted. There are many ways to meet the needs of these potential 600+ children. Please join us as one agency eager to help families move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
March 29, 2022
These nine years at FPGHC have been quite a journey. We’ve had our ups and downs and challenges like most non-profit organizations. Covid brought on an entire new set of challenges as we had to find alternative ways to serve our families and secure steady funding streams to continue operating.
As our faithful followers and supporters, you know we started in 2013 with very humble beginnings of less than 800 square feet of space (Thank You First United Methodist Church, WR). We then had the opportunity to move to the Watson Blvd. location in 2018 through the kindness of our friends from HODAC. We celebrated our most recent blessing of the new campus in Perry (formally Grace Village) March 29th. We had a great crowd of supporters in attendance for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. You will continue to hear us sing praises of the wonderful support we receive from our community. We are truly a village with many hands and hearts serving families with children in Houston County.
If you missed the ribbon cutting, we will be giving campus tours once a month. Please call the office to confirm the date and time.
