Our mission is to mobilize community congregations that partner with social service agencies to end homelessness, one family at a time.

Family Promise of Greater Houston County will soon be 2 years old - opening its doors May 2013. During these two years we have served 22 families with wonderful results:
15 moved on to permanent housing
4 needed to move into transitional housing before securing permanent housing
3 are currently in the program
All of our families have been successful and accomplished huge goals within 90 days.
Our Family Promise Van has seen better days. Thanks to Jack at Emmett Head Auto, the van has been kept running longer than we might have expected. Its age, and wear-and-tear have now begun to take their toll. We are listing a Van as our most important high priority requirement, so please join me in prayer and action to find a new van for Family Promise.
