Over the past 10 years, Family Promise along with a supportive community  has provided shelter, meals, transportation,  life skills classes, transitional housing, case management, and homelessness prevention to more than 700 children and their families. (Houston County Board of Education has reported close to 500 homeless students in their school system.)
