Community Partners
Thank you to Fellowship Bible Baptist Church
We are so very grateful for the support of FBBC of Warner Robins! This congregation, led by Pastor Tolan Morgan, recently gave of their time and resources to bless our new facility. FBBC has an outreach ministry called ACTS—Affecting Community Through Service. Through this ministry they offered their services to beautify our campus. They cleaned the Office building by giving it a good power wash, provided needed supplies for our guests, purchased rocking chairs for the facility, cleaned apartments and gave them a nice cozy feel with their loving care, and cleaned and organized the kitchen area of our large community building. Everything looks beautiful! Thank you, dear friends, for your generous support. Your efforts, time, and resources are greatly appreciated. Thank you for being a blessing to our Family Promise
staff and guests. Our hearts are full of thanksgiving and praise!
You can see more photos and a video at their website: www.fbbchome.org. You are also invited to visit their Facebook page or the Family Promise Facebook page.

Thank you Thelma Sexton for donating Jaguar XJ6
This 1985 'all original' Jaguar XJ6 was donated to Family Promise by Thelma Sexton. It was believed the car, due to its 'antique status', might be a good candidate as a money maker for our organization. Although inappropriate for a guest due to its age and unique maintenance issues (manufactured in the UK), it was sold at auction. Thelma received a tax deductible donation from Family Promise and Jack at Emmett Head Auto, did a little work on the auto. The car was on the lot for two days when it was seen by a local collector and purchased 'as is' for $1800. In Jack's words, "That's what happens when God gets involved." Proceeds from the donated car will go to serve the ongoing Mission of Family Promise of Greater Houston County - Thanks Thelma for thinking of Family Promise.

Thank you Mossy Creek Middle School FCCLA and FBLA
Mossy Creek Middle School FCCLA and FBLA teamed up to make as many pillows as possible to be donated to Family Promise, a local organization that provides services, food, and shelter to our homeless family in Houston County. "Pillows with a Promise" was created by two of the members, Kaden Greer and Krish Patel, who wanted to make a difference in their community. Almost 35 FCCLA and FBLA members gathered on two days after school to make 75 pillows. Thank you to all the parents who donated materials and members here at "the Creek" who donated their time to help make this community service project a huge success. Nicole Rosser, Director of Family Promise stated, "We were able to distribute the pillows to more than 20 children last month along with some past children that have been in our program. It was nice to have so many and for the kids to have a selection. And of course, . . .. they had a pillow fight."
